The United States of America will prevail, in the Year 2014 as it was in Clinton times. Futurists are busy in their projections worldwide. The most important for us Americans is future of the United States, locally, internationally, and globally.
Locally: there are two important areas where most futurists bring projections. In my projection, the political and the economic areas. Internationally, however diplomacy and cooperation with the EU members states through the NATO Forces. And globally, in terms of the Dollar power, the challenges for the American leadership over the world. - Politically: The Democratic party will continue to sweep the miss of Bush Administration. The agenda for America will stay the same. President Barack Obama will continue his way to bring Republican and Democrat for the benefits of America. Obama will be remembered as the Sweeper president who will gain victory over deficit, America’s reputation in terms of strategic influence worldwide. The government carries the burden of Banks, auto companies, and much more. A new beginning will take place in almost every sector of the economy. The good days for America are coming back. Iraq will be a democracy as the United States wishes. Afghanistan will be also economy with the help of NATO forces. The oil will continue to come to the United States, New avenues will be discovered scientifically speaking, in terms of Natural energy resources. Our troops will come back home, new jobs will be opened, Unemployment will get low to its old percentage. And finally, The Dollar will remain strong which will help economic recovery in the next five years.
- Economically: The economy will be settled, jobs and employment will flower over the states and the deficit will be reduced to a minimal. Americans are in dept but they are happy to see the change promised by President Barack Obama. In the year 2012 Barack Obama will be elected second term, with little challenge from the Republicans, because Bush ghost still around the corner. Americans know that he should have enough time for a second term to complete his mission.
Internationally: The EU will continue its position to be supportive to the United States in terms of NATO, forces and strategies. The EU in fact will spend much of its time to bring Germany and France back on track, because they might say: what’s the Hell, why do we have to help the east European poor nations? The EU will have trouble by Germany and France, who will be reluctant to dealing with the new comers to its membership, the poor nations.

People, our Revolution has begun. I have drafted WE THE PEOPLES’ DECLARATION OF REVOLUTION 2009 and sent it, with letters, to my Governor, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Fox News Cable Network. It has demands and warnings. Watch Fox News in the next few days. Get this Declaration in your hands and make copies. Our govt. is in tyranny and if our Justice Dept. fails, I warned them that WE have the authority and duty to remove them ourselves. Get this official Declaration. Tell others!!
every one should raid a gun store in the same day all over the country kill the goverment bitches take out the pentagon we should destroy this once and for all this is like being in jail you own your land why do you need to keep paying why this will end we need to cut the snake heads off the goverment will fall and die in their land called america
I mean no disrespect when i say this. I am just one of MANY Americans out there who are fully aware of all the BS in our political system and our fading freedom. But the biggest reason nothing really big has been done to fight against this yet is because the BIG QUESTION hasn’t been answered yet. The BIG QUESTION is: Aside from talking…and talking and taking about it. what can WE THE PEOPLE actually DO about it? As a voting citizen i WANT to do something, but like most i don’t know WHAT to do.
what we must not ever 4get after 911 we never got attacked again, cuz Bush is tough!!
amen..and also the complete truth about the u.s. government.
The current system is ridicules….as insurance companies cut back what they are willing to pay for, they raise their rates. People die waiting to see if they qualify for a procedure they thought they paid for. How can this work if the point is profit…it's ridicules. You want to take care of the people or you want to make money, choose one. It use to be in this country you could pay for things on your own. Now they want to force everybody to pay the blood sucking insurers…that's not freedom, that the rich fat cats getting richer. I don't like the idea of insurance…I like the idea of taking care of my self, but with our great current system, I would have to shell out two years salary for an operation. This is wrong….
well yes they would make more money but it's more of an ethical question, a lot of adult voters think it would turn our nation into what they saw in the 60's where everyone is part of drug craze and no real progress would be made because everyone would have too many legal escapes from their problems causing them to not root out the underlying problem.
Edit: Well I agree we should legalize things like weed because there is little health risk and not to much side effects other than being lazy but I also know people who are at least as functional as those who drink alcohol. The harder drugs I dont think people will vote for to legalize. Its about standards, in countries where coke is legal it tends to go downhill, then again in some places it works. A lot of people would rather have the crime associated with making narcotics illegal, we dont want our kids to think that it should be okay or that we condone it, and thats exactly what legalizing would say.
You cant always just od what you want. Natural drugs should be held to the same standards as tobacco or alcohol though, using the logic which was used to make those legal I think we should stay consisten with how we make decisions.
I did not vote for Obama or a socialist government. I would really like to see a candidate who is willing to limit government to its proper function. We have not had one since Reagan. I listened to Obama and I realized that at best he would represent the Chicago Mafia and great big government and at the worst the Muslims. His actions in illegally paying off the Dems was totally predictable. Government can give you nothing they do not take from someone else. The government is totally anti productive.
I hope my opinions are age/grade appropriate.
I wouldn't begin with what my speech is not about. I would put all the pro's together, then all the con's. Less about financial issues, we can't consider costs and appropriate punishment at the same time. (HMO's tried this with medicine, it was a disaster) just as the family of the dying patient didn't care about cost's, the family of a victim don't. Also the statement "The answer is most definitely not" should be your finale. After the fifth sentence I no longer need to listen because you gave me "the answer". When citing cases state only the facts, don't ad your thoughts, add them later during your pro or con opinion. Extremely important to separate fact's and opinion and identify you opinions by starting with "I believe", or "I feel", "in my opinion" etc.
Heavens yes. Given the choice.. would you want to go to jail in Mexico or in the United States. The answer for those who don't know is.. the Untied States.
I cannot prove it at this point, but it is critical to understand the Border Patrol is telling us they are catching about one in ten of the people crossing the Mexican Borders. Usually, the people crossing the borders cannot cross in the standard ways so they tend to be criminals and or terrorists.
Criminals and terrorists have the most money of all who cross our borders. Those crumb bums can afford the *very best guides* (coyotes) to get over the border and while no one knows, I am thinking they probably make it rather easily.
Congress, by the way, is complaining that the more they spend, the more the border needs. The real meaning of that is, there was a huge amount of criminal activity on the border, and as they look, and discover, they have to spend more money. NONE… none of it would have happened if they had done what was required and secured our identifications. But they did not secure our I.D.s, and the cost will be in the trillions over the coming years to fix the mess those idiots made.
A last point. The Mexican Government has used trickle down economics from the beginning. At some point, the money got down to the big land owners like Fox, and didn't go any further. The corruption is horrendous in Mexico, and until Mexico is forced to deal with its people, it is going to continue as it is today.
Mr. Bush could stop the rush to the border by almost all the Mexicans. He could say we will not provide amnesty and that would help a very good deal. Do we know.. one and all.. what we think of Mr. Bush for allowing this to continue?
Only under Bush has the U.S. government behaved in this reprehensible way. I'm saddened that the U.S. has stooped to the low level of the Chinese government on privacy rights. But for Yahoo to be an accomplice in this action is unconscionable.
You disgust me when you assert Yahoo's "obligation to its shareholders" as an excuse for unethical behavior like this. If you ask the shareholders, we will say, in unison, that they had no right to become Stalinists in order to make a profit. In the same way, you have no right to violate anyone's human rights in order to make a profit. It is no different for a large company than it is for one individual.
I think he will try. Don't forget what he did during his campaign to the hapless talk radio conservative in Chicago. His campaign shut the man down. I wouldn't be surprised if Obama moved hard to do the same to Rush or Hannity. Fascism served with hopenchange.
That is the longest question ever…lol
The debate is about :
1. whos responsibility is it to provide for an individual?
(personal accountability)
2. Who is poor? (who is deserving/who is undeserving)
3. Who is a child? (>18,>24…what is it?)
Why does Congress continue to want to tweek things that are not broken?
I like the concept, but $5/ton and 1 cent per gallon is smaller than I prefer. It will help create some revenue for some important measures, but I think the tax also needs to create an incentive for people to consume less gas and thus create fewer carbon emissions to begin with. Obviously 1 cent per gallon is too small to accomplish that.
A larger tax will both create more revenue for carbon mitigation efforts and also give people an incentive to emit less carbon to begin with. While it would be politically more difficult to implement, it would also be a much more effective tool.
