Shopping Online for Discount Cruise Deals On Mexico, Bahamas, and Hawaii

“Crusin’ on a Sunday afternoon” has taken on an entirely new meaning for so many around the world. I bet you’re wondering how these folks can afford to take cruises a couple of times a year to Mexico, the Bahamas and Hawaii, right? I bet you think that these people are rich, too. Well, maybe some of them are rich, but the majority of them earn a living just like the rest of us do. The big difference is that these folks know how to shop for discount cruises, and they’re doing it online.

Modern cruises aren’t what they used to be. Cruise ships of today are more like traveling resorts that get you from one port of call to another, wining and dining its passengers from dusk ’til dawn (and every time in between). Each newly sailing luxury ship needs to be bigger and better than its predecessors, leaving more and more passenger cabins to fill in the process. All you need to do is find the open cabins on the right ships to get onboard a discount cruise to Mexico, the Bahamas or Hawaii.

First things first, don’t even bother going to a travel agent or other in-person operation, for unless you’re a very good customer to them, they probably won’t tell you about the extra-cheap deals. Remember, travel is usually a commission-based business, so if you aren’t spending much cash, the agent doesn’t make much money. The best (and easiest) way to find discounted cruises is on the World Wide Web, where agents and website owners are dealing with a higher quantity of travelers, so they don’t need to make as much per purchase to make a living.

Next tip: even if you are choosing one cruise destination now, say for example Hawaii, don’t pick a website that only offers cruises to Hawaii and no place else. Sure, you may love the islands of the South Pacific and may want to travel there again one day, but the world is filled with interesting cruising destinations with oceans just waiting for you to set sail. Basically, don’t limit your own options before you’ve even cast off, because some options may offer more value than others.

Don’t forget about time and destination flexibility, as the more flexible your schedule is, the better deal you’re going to get. So even if your heart is set on Acapulco this time, you might be able to get a much better price on a cruise to the Bahamas. Instead of spending the extra money on your cruise, think about all of the extra shopping and land excursions you’ll be able to take if you stretch you become adaptable to the situation. After all, the world is a colossal place, so you’ll need to travel on a lot of cruise ships to see the entire planet.

People like you treat third world countries like it’s a personal ashtray. Bangkok wouldn’t exist except for the satisfaction of sex tourists and drunkards looking for bargains. Thailand would be better off with no tourists, but they’ve been seduced by easy money. And you’re just feeding into the system.

The problem with foreigners buying houses or land in Thailand is they can’t ‘legally’ own it.

The property would have to go into your Thai wife’s name or Thai partner’s name and then there could be problems if a divorce or a split up arose.

    Very high risk indeed!!!

    Would you take the risk?

I did and lived in Thailand for almost 8 years and built a family home. Had 2 children then my wife left the kids and I in England.

We were together a long time and I still lost a lot!!!

Thailand is a very nice place, however there is much more then pretty girls. Dude, you are a little overboard and narrow mined. You need to perhaps get a life before making such a decision.

Unless you Cruise, Hawaii doesn't have any all inclusive resorts – but of course you can always find a good deal for hotel etc… through a corporate travel broker. They have rock bottom package deals like 2 adults for $400 for 5 days at a really nice 4 star hotel.

Sometimes they also have 2 for 1 airfare deals. You can check out a reliable broker at the site below – I have used them before & had a great time! I didn't Cruise, I only got the hotel deal but it was great if you're looking to save $! Aloha :)

you could go to AAA, Expedia or Travelocity. I just booked my trip to Cancun and compare pricing between the three sites, the best fares I could find was on Travelocity.

I am of the school of thought that if you want a generic package where you get what they have to offer and nothing else at an inflated price, then a website is the answer. If you want something specific, then you get in contact with a Travel Agent.

When you contact a Travel Agent, do not hesitate to ask for something specific as there's a very good chance that it can be granted. TRAVEL WITH STEPHEN is a very good Travel Agency, because they offer very good customer service, and the prices for most of their Travel are very reasonable.

You don't need to use a travel agent, you can easily set up a honeymoon on your own (try Pleasant Hawaiian vacations, the top booking site). However using a travel agent might make you feel better that everything is taken care of on such an important time in your life. That being said, Hawaii is very tourist friendly and visiting is about as easy as it gets. Don't visit Oahu first if you have never been to Hawaii (and it sound like you haven't). Visit Maui instead, it's a little quieter and much less crowded. It's the top Honeymoon destination for a reason. Tons to do and see, it's much more like what you picture in your head. Oahu (where my sister lives and I visit every year) is home to 400,000 person strong Honolulu and tourist mecca Waikiki. Don't get me wrong, Oahu is a wonderful island and a great visit but it's not what you are looking for.

I would look for hotels in either Kaanapali, Kapalua or Wailea areas. I've stayed at all three and Kapalua is best, Kaanapali is a very close second. Wailea is a bit too far away from many of the sights for my taste, better to visit that area than stay there. You can't beat the Sheraton at Kaanapali or the new Westin just north of it. However all of the major hotels in that area are very nice.

Try this site first and go from there:
