Acai, Beauty & Hollywood

“Maybe this is psychosomatic, but since I’ve been into açaí (pronounced as ‘ah-sigh-ee’), I feel like I have a lot of energy. Pomegranate juice is too tart for me, and goji juice is too bitter. Don’t get me started on wheatgrass.” These are the words of the famous actress Whitney Cummings. She has been buying Acai in bulk for over a year now, and is pretty much satisfied with what the fruit has to offer.

As we all know, beauty is an integral part of Hollywood. People find newer ways to increase their skin tone, and invest thousands and even millions of dollars in the latest gadgets and health products. But chemically prepared nutrients are not very easy on the body, and after the initial burst of beauty, it will leave long lasting effects. Until the recent times, almost all the available food and fruits were deemed virtually useless from beauty enhancement point of view. This was until a couple of guys decided to research on Acai back in 1999.

The test results were immensely positive, and Hollywood soon jumped into the endless possibilities of Acai. Overall appeal and vanity is something that Hollywood lauds of. In an industry where beauty is paramount, acai has done wonders within just 6 years of its actual introduction into the market. So, what makes the fruit the favorite for numerous Hollywood actors and actresses like Matt Damon, Paul McCartney and Salma Hayek?

Acai grows in the rainforests of Brazil, and is known to contain large amounts of anti-oxidants and proteins that the body needs. A daily diet of acai visibly reduces signs of aging, and helps in increasing metabolism of the body, thereby reducing considerable amounts of unwanted fat and cholesterol. Research and studies organized by Jeremy and Ryan Black, the people behind the research of Acai on a large scale back in 1999, proved acai to possess almost ten times more the nutrient values than some of the conventional fruits and supplements around.

But people really started to listen when Oprah Winfrey hosted a show with the author of ‘The mysterious power of acai’. Oprah is no stranger to us, and her immense media presence was enough to almost triple the sales of acai within a year’s time. The better part is, people were really satisfied, and they began to feel the effects of acai within just days! What more could you ask for than the actual results and satisfaction of people consuming acai.

If you are looking to increase your beauty and reduce signs of aging, try including acai in your diet. Acai is not only useful in improving your skin tone, but can also be very useful in burning away those extra pounds. Once you start using acai, you will be spell bound by the effects, and it is assured that you won’t stop consuming it time and again.

Help answer the question aboutHollywood actors

What Hollywood actors do you think just care about stardom and fame, not the art of acting?
A know every actor says their passionate about their work and acting, but which individuals do you think are lying? Who simply cares about the art of acting, and who wants to be a 'star'.

From what I have seen the "weird" celebs are usually the most real and passionate. Because in high school didn't many of the actors/theatre people strike you as strange?

So who really just wants to be famous?

    Thanks!

  4. Maureen O’Hara will always be the most beautiful women I ever saw in the movies. From young woman to full maturity, her charm and grace never changed.

MacCrae and Jones will always be my favorite duet. Oklahoma the movie I still turn to for a love story.

They would act like regular people.
Of course you may come across a person who is a real snob, but there are people who aren't celebrities and are still snobby.
They would probably be nice and respectful to the person who is interviewing or visiting them.
Also, remember, just because all the actors on t.v. seem to be good looking, it doesn't mean that they are used to seeing hot people all the time. They also work with directors, camera operators, sound crew, etc., and as these people aren't on t.v. they don't have to be good looking. We never see the people "behind the scenes", so most people just assume the entertainment industry is limited to people who are hot.

Somebody needs to find Julie H's math teacher and slap them. And Anna makes an excellent point. However, the celebrities getting all the coverage in this election are successful actors (ie: the rich ones). The broke- struggling-hoping-to-keep -their-SAG-card-for -the-health-insurance actors will not pay more in taxes.

dude its $12 a ticket here, i haven't seen a movie in ages, but you have to look at it from there view,

Brad pit "dammit i crashed another Ferrari, my insurance is going up"

angelina jolie " hey brad i'm gonna adopt 5 more kids this year and 8 more nannies, were going to need a much bigger house to get away from there screaming in the other side of the Manson"

brad " ok i'll ask for 40mill in my next movie with 5% of the proceeds instead of 3%, and 20mil and well build a house the size of a shopping mall in cash"

joli "oh and brad i'm going to Europe in our jet for the month to buy more furniture and clothes to fill the new house"

brad "huh ok i'll just ask for more money, or i'll go on strike cause i don't want to Touch the 350mill i got in the bank and my other money that's been maturing to a almost a billion since is started acting"

tom cruise "dam my investments in UA films have not been to good my last movie from there bombed, i'll go on strike and get MGM, Paramount and the rest of them help me to buy that island i like and kick the people off"

katie holmes " yeah tom instead of just buying Oahu lets take also Maui also and kick everyone off so i can have those beaches to myself and the kids"

  15. liz-beth says:

I think, personally, that the people who just go out and party every night, get drunk, etc. are the ones who don't care about the art.

If they really cared, they'd be home studying lines most of the time. I'm not saying they wouldn't ever go out, but they wouldn't be known for partying either.

I'm not sure if what I said made sense, but it made sense in my head. haha. (:

  16. Edgar A. P says:

People do not want show any initiative and actually become informed. Ask someone what they think of abortion, gay marriage, or personal issues of politicians and they will have an answer for you.

These ideas or values are usually instilled in them by their religion or the culture they choose to be a part of.

Ask the same person about the economy, the environment, poverty, etc people will throw these b.s. answers at you like " Well that's bad, We should fix that". They don't really know what they are talking about.

Like the whole "Bush Sucks" thing. PLENTY of people say that, but oftentimes will not be able to tell you why.

Or Obama becoming such a big deal. He is becoming more of a pop culture icon than political figure and its disheartening.

    What im getting at is

People do not want to think hard about anything.
They do not want to make an effort to be informed.
Most people would rather ride the wave and conform to the popular belief than try to formulate their own ideas about most things.

Whats a simpler way to make a decision-
Educate yourself, show awareness, make a comprehensive choice
    or
Do what your favorite celebrity tells you, because they seem to know what they're doing and also you really liked that romantic comedy they were in.

  18. The Alster says:

Because in the Hollywood centered world, they recognize haybe 3 or 4 accents. German, British, Mexican, and Eastern Asia. They cram everybody into these because it doesn't matter to them.
